Donelson Pike Roadway Relocation

Project Details

Connico provided rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimating and scheduling/phasing services for the project for the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). TDOT intends to relocate Donelson Pike to account for expansion at BNA by 2023. This relocation will require the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) to also make changes to their internal roadway system. This project prepared a preliminary design of these MNAA changes along with a ROM cost estimate. Elements of the project included bridge modifications to Taxiway J and Taxiway L, construction of a seven-lane bridge over traffic on the exterior roadways, construction of a two-lane bridge over traffic on exterior roadways, modifications to a five-lane bridge over traffic on exterior roadways, and roadway pavement demolitions.
