Tennessee Department of Transportation On-Call Projects

Project Details

Connico provided rough order of magnitude (ROM) and/or construction document (CD) estimating services for this on-call that included the following projects for the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT):

• District Garage Upgrades – The project included three upgraded district garage options for TDOT with a window-to-rolling door opening conversion, building extension, and lighting upgrades.
• New Maintenance building – The project included the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new prefabricated maintenance building for TDOT.
• Nemo Bridge Maintenance – The project included a few options. Option 1 was the demolition of an existing bridge structure leaving concrete piers and concrete bridge supports in place. Option 2 was the replacement of steel gussets and plates on the bridge steel structure. Option 3 included sand blasting and repainting the existing steel structure. All work was performed over river water and riverbeds and included environmental protection during construction.
