Project Details

Connico provided benefit/cost analysis, life cycle analysis, and construction critical path concept scheduling for Part A of this project as well as financial analysis for setting the proposed plan of how to rebuild this runway. The scope of the project included preliminary engineering study and programming for Runway 5R-23L, Taxiway D and Taxiways C8 and D8, including seven (7) intermediate pavement alternatives, full depth Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP), full-depth asphalt reconstruction, airfield electrical improvements, and asphalt overlay and maintenance.

Our services continued through to the design, Part B, of the project. Connico provided cost estimating and scheduling for the project that included full depth PCCP reconstruction of Runway 5R-23L, Taxiway D, and their associated connector Taxiways including the necessary drainage, electrical, vault modifications, grading, and NAVAIDS improvements.
