Project Details

Connico provided cost estimating services for this energy resilience project at Indianapolis International Airport. This project involved the implementation of a new solar panel array hooked to a battery energy storage system (BESS) within the economy lot parking facility. There were also two (2) options for canopy structures to secure the photovoltaic panels (PV), along with three (3) electrical options per canopy style with multiple options for the BESS, along with site work to trench and repair the parking lot where the duct bank was installed to interconnect the photovoltaic energy generation infrastructure, battery energy storage system, and passenger terminal. This is all for the Airport Authority’s goal of sustainability and resilience.
