What has been one of your proudest accomplishments at Connico and why?

My proudest accomplishment at Connico has been successfully navigating the ownership transition for both Connico Inc and Connico, LLC. This transition was a significant milestone, and I am proud of how smoothly it was executed.

How would you describe Connico’s company culture?

Connico’s company culture is deeply rooted in our core values, particularly high personal ethics and integrity. Our team functions cohesively because we trust and respect each other's personal integrity, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about your role?

The expected answer here is that I wish everyone understood the importance of administrative professionals. However, at Connico, my contributions are highly valued and recognized, which hasn't always been the case in my career.

What team-building activity do you think has had the greatest impact on Connico’s culture?

Our office rotations have had the most significant impact on our company culture. Since over half of our staff works remotely across the U.S., we bring a mix of team members together quarterly for one week at one of our two physical office locations. These visits allow us to collaborate on projects, participate in team-building activities, and spend valuable time together in person, which strengthens our bond and enhances our teamwork.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?

The vision of my team is to be the “pocket of magic” for the organization, which is what I find most rewarding. We achieve this by providing solutions to daily roadblocks for both our staff and clients, making their experiences smoother and more successful.

Which Connico core value resonates most with you and why?

Integrity is the core value that resonates most with me. It is the foundation upon which all our other values are built. Without personal integrity, it’s impossible to truly embody the rest of our core values.

A close second is resiliency. Connico has demonstrated remarkable resilience since its founding as a woman-owned business in the construction industry in 1990, and this was evident again during our seamless ownership transition from Connico Inc, to Connico, LLC.
